A man of vision, purpose, and unwavering commitment to public enlightenment and peace-building, Femi Alufa has continued to distinguish himself as a leading voice in Ekiti’s media landscape. Through the Ekiti Summit News Media Group, he has championed people-centered and developmental journalism, amplifying community voices and preserving cultural heritage.
Beyond the newsroom, Mr.Femi Alufa is the convener of the Ekiti Peace Day( Kiriji Memorial Festival), a historic initiative that commemorates Yoruba unity and promotes reconciliation, dialogue, and civic engagement.
As he marks another year of life and purposeful service, we honour his contributions to the growth of community-based journalism, peace advocacy, and cultural revival in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.
