BringBackMOB.ng Campaign Website Goes Live Ahead of APC Senatorial Primaries

Supporters of Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) have intensified efforts to secure his return to the Senate as the #BringBackMOB movement officially launched its campaign website, , ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Primaries scheduled for Monday, May 18.

The newly unveiled platform is designed to coordinate grassroots mobilization, stakeholder engagement, campaign updates, and voter outreach across Ekiti Central Senatorial District as Senator Bamidele seeks a third consecutive term in the National Assembly.

The launch comes amid growing political momentum surrounding the lawmaker’s re-election bid, with supporters citing his legislative experience, leadership role within the National Assembly, and developmental contributions to Ekiti Central as reasons for renewed public support.

Speaking on the development, Convener of the #BringBackMOB Campaign, Femi Alufa, described Senator Bamidele as “a tested leader and trusted voice” who has consistently delivered effective representation for the people of the district.

“Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele remains the trusted representative of the good people of Ekiti Central Senatorial District. He is a tested leader, a trusted voice, and a symbol of service and progress,” Alufa stated.

Political observers believe the Ekiti Central lawmaker may be on course to make history if current political alignments within the APC remain unchanged. Indications suggest Senator Bamidele could emerge unopposed for the party’s senatorial ticket – a development that would make him the first senator from Ekiti State to achieve such a feat since Nigeria’s return to democratic rule in 1999.

The APC Senatorial Primaries are expected to hold nationwide on Monday, with party delegates set to determine candidates for the forthcoming general elections.

Meanwhile, supporters of the senator have called on constituents and party faithful to sustain the growing momentum behind the #BringBackMOB movement, describing it as a continuation of purposeful leadership, effective representation, and sustainable development for Ekiti Central.
