EKITI DECIDES 2026: ADC Governorship Candidate Dare Bejide Casts Vote
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dare Bejide, has cast his vote in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election.
Bejide voted at the Oke Adura Polling Unit in Ekiti South West Local Government Area, where he commended the turnout of voters and encouraged residents to participate peacefully in the democratic process.
The ADC candidate expressed optimism about the conduct of the election and urged electoral stakeholders, including the electoral commission and security agencies, to ensure a free, fair, and credible process.
Speaking shortly after voting, he emphasized the importance of peaceful participation and confidence in the democratic process as citizens decide who will govern the state for the next four years.
Voting continues across Ekiti State as eligible voters exercise their constitutional right to elect their next governor. Bejide is the ADC candidate in the election after emerging victorious in the party’s governorship primary ahead of the 2026 poll.
