APC Senatorial Primaries: MOB Poised for Victory as Supporters Hail His Legislative Performance and Grassroots Impact
Supporters of Michael Opeyemi Bamidele popularly known as MOB, have expressed strong confidence ahead of the forthcoming senatorial primaries of the All Progressives Congress scheduled to hold on Monday, May 18, declaring that the lawmaker remains the overwhelming choice of party members and constituents across the Ekiti Central Senatorial District.
Speaking on behalf of the “BringBack MOB” movement, Convener Femi Alufa described Senator Bamidele as “the undisputed senator” whose track record in leadership, lawmaking, and constituency development has continued to earn him widespread admiration among the people of the district.
According to Femi Alufa, who is also a Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Deputy Senate President at the National Assembly, Senator Bamidele’s years of effective representation at the National Assembly have distinguished him as one of the most influential voices from Ekiti State and a committed advocate for good governance, democratic stability, and people-oriented legislation.
Femi Alufa noted that Senator Bamidele’s performance in the Senate has gone beyond sponsoring bills and participating in national debates, stressing that the lawmaker has consistently used his office to attract developmental projects, empower youths and women, support students through scholarships, and provide assistance to vulnerable groups across Ekiti Central.
He further described the senator as a “trustee of the people” whose accessibility and commitment to grassroots politics have strengthened the bond between the electorate and the APC in the senatorial district.
“Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele has proven himself as a dependable leader and a true representative of the people. His legislative experience, political maturity, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of constituents have made him a pride of Ekiti Central,” Femi Alufa stated.
He added that the achievements recorded by the senator in areas such as infrastructure support, educational intervention, constituency empowerment programmes, and legislative advocacy have positioned him as a stabilizing force within the APC and a respected national figure.
Political observers within the district believe that Senator Bamidele’s longstanding relationship with party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, and professionals places him in a strong position ahead of the primaries.
