National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Ijero-Ekiti Study Center ready for Commissioning

History is made on Friday, July 11,2025 when the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Ijero-Ekiti study center is ready for commissioning by Ekiti State Governor,His Excellency , Mr.Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
This is a celebrated milestone in the history of education in Ijero-Ekiti.The inauguration and commissioning ceremony will be held at the NOUN Study Center ) University’s premise ) Aramoko Road, Ijero-Ekiti.
The Royal Father of the Day is ,HRM Oba Joseph Adebayo Adewole, JP, OFR Arojojoye II, The Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, Ajero -in-Council, members of the Ijero Development Association (IDA), education and development enthusiasts,friends and well wishers of Ijero -Ekiti are expected at this moment of double celebration on Friday,July 11 which is also the birthday of His Royal Majesty,the Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom,Oba Joseph Adebayo Adewole, Arojojoye II.
The NOUN inauguration and commissioning ceremony would be a poignant celebration – a sort of great accomplishments for Ijero Development Association (IDA)- the apex organisation for all the social organizations of Ijero sons and daughters worldwide.
The amount of dedication every members of the Centra planning Committee put into the programme every day was amazing,the Ijero Development Association (IDA) and it’s Central Coordinating Committee (CCC) are the organs fostering the NOUN project and managing it”.
