Senator Babafemi Ojudu, renowned journalist, author and politician celebrates his beloved wife ,Mrs Omotola Olajumoke Ojudu (nee Adebiyi) who clocks 60 on Sunday,June 1st.
This is the woman, Senator Babafemi Ojudu described in his latest book, Adventures of a Guerilla in Chapter XXI , Like A Story: The Wife Journalism Gave me:
…” We became friends, and she began to confide in me.One weekend,she asked me to pick her up from the salon….
Within three months,I took her to meet my parents,met hers,and we got married.We’ve been happily married for over 27 years….
Tola’s support has been invaluable.During the days I was locked up by Abacha,she did everything.She took the kids to school, went to work, picked them up, returned to the office, cane home,fed them, and put them to bed.She even hired tutors to ensure they stayed on track.”
This is a supportive woman that her husband , Senator Ojudu wrote about her in the Acknowledgement of his memoir, Adventures of A Guerilla Journalist:
” I owe you immeasurable gratitude… You were my rock,my Olota lule Ado…My deepest gratitude,Tola.”
In his Facebook page post on Sunday, June 1st, Senator Ojudu wrote:

Today, we celebrate a truly remarkable woman — my beloved wife, Omotola Olajumoke Ojudu (née Adebiyi), as she turns 60.
