It’s an uncomfortable truth that poverty is in the land and it’s an eyesore to both the political leaders and the wealthy citizens. The destinies of the “haves” are intrinsically linked to the fates of the ” have – nothing -at -alls”. It’s a real war against poverty to empower the less privileged who are on the lower ladder of the economy.Government and political leaders must do something to end poverty and not to weaponized it.This is how sustainable development can be achieved from the bottom -up.
The Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele deserve our applause as a promise keeper and trustee of the people through his mother of all empowerement programne for his constituents .
