Your Royal Majesty, our revered Kabiyesi, Owa Ajero, Ajero in council, Elders, Members of IDA, distinguished ladies and gentlemen.
I am highly honoured for the privilege granted me to serve in the capacity of Chairman of this all important committee put together to move our dear Ijero to enviable heights.
I hereby accept to serve along with my colleagues to the best of
our ability to deliver on this all important assignment of giving Ijero town plus our vullages and farmsteads a stand alone Local Government within the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We shall treat this assignment deservedly to achieve the best results leveraging on past efforts and experiences working within our Terms of Refences employing robust research and other modern tools to achieve the desired goal.
