Every human being has the right to live in peace within himself and with his/her neighbour.The door of peace and sustainable development should remain open to all humanity .We are human because we live through others, we belong, we participate and we share.
The idea behind this cultural world view is called Ubuntu among the countries of East, Central and Southern Africa. A person with Ubuntu will recognize that he/she belongs to others within the web of humanity and seek to live in peace with others. The world will be a better planet to live if we strive to building peace and sustaining it individually and collectively every day.
We should prove Desmond Tutu, South African Cleric, Anti-Apartheid activist and 1984 Nobel Peace Laureate right when he said:” Each of us can make contribution. Too frequently we think we have to do spectacular things. Yet if we remember that the sea is actually made up of drops water and each drops counts, each of us can do our little bit where we are. Those little bit can come together and almost overwhelm the world. Each of us can be an oasis of Peace.
Finally,we must remember what the scripture said long time ago : “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
