PRO-TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP CONGRATULATES SENATOR BAMIDELE ON 63RD BIRTHDAY
A political support group, BAO Grassroots Support for President Bola Tinubu, has congratulated Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele on his 63rd birthday.
Senator Bamidele who is the Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly clocks 63 on July 29.
The group described Senator Bamidele as an impactful statesman, a compassionate political leader and a shining star of Ekiti and the Yoruba race who has given much for the country to move forward.
In a statement by the State Coordinator, Prince Tunji Ogunlola and Director of Publicity, Mr Odunayo Ogunmola, the group also described Senator Bamidele as a rare gift to mankind who has dedicated himself for a better Ekiti and a more prosperous Nigeria.
The BAO Grassroots Support further hailed Senator Bamidele for being a dependable ally and loyalist of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the execution of his Renewed Hope agenda which has repositioned the polity for a brighter and rewarding future.
The body noted that Senator Bamidele had started serving the nation since his youthful days as a student union activist fighting for restoration of democracy and the rights of Nigerian students as the Public Relations Officer and later as National President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
It also acknowledged Senator Bamidele’s public service trajectory as Special Adviser, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Commissioner for Information and Strategy all in Lagos and House of Representatives member for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and now as ranking Senator for Ekiti Central.
The group noted that Bamidele has used his position as Senate Majority Leader to serve as a stabilising force in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, leader of debates, sponsor of landmark bills and facilitator of key projects to his senatorial district.
The BAO Grassroots Support for President Bola Tinubu hailed Senator Bamidele for carrying out landmark empowerment of constituents which has brought better life to the people of the senatorial district.
The group equally hailed the Senate Leader for facilitating signature projects to his senatorial district in particular and other parts of the state in general which he influenced their incorporation into the federal budget.
While wishing Senator Bamidele happy birthday and many happy returns of the day, the group prayed God to grant him long life, good health and more purposeful service to the people of Ekiti State, Nigeria and humanity at large.
