…As Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele donates Events Center in memory of his Late Mum

Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, CON,The Leader of the 10th Senate has donated an ultra modern events center to the Babamuboni Memorial Anglican Church, Iyin -Ekiti in memory of his beloved mother, Madam Julianah Tinuola Bamidele who died on February 12,2004.She was aged 67.

The ultra modern events center named Abiyamo Julianah Tinuola Bamidele Events Center (AJTBEC), Iyin -Ekiti is a beauty to behold and was commissioned last Saturday, March 29.

The creme de la creme of the society joined the Kabiyesi Oluyin of Iyin -Ekiti,HRM Oba Adeola Ajakaiye,Oyinyo saiye Uyin III, Former Governor of Ekiti State,Otunba Niyi Adebayo,Senate President , His Excellency Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President , Senator Jibrin Barau, Ekiti State Governor His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji(BAO), Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye and other government functionaries at the Remembrance Thanksgiving Service and Dedication of the Ultra Modern Events Centre in honour of the Leader of the Senate, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele’s beloved mother, the late Mrs. Julianah Tinuola Bamidele, at Babamuboni Memorial Anglican Church, Iyin Ekiti.

The late Madam Julianah Tinuola Bamidele was born on October 12,1937 to the family of Pa James Aladejebi ,a prince of the Royal House of Adesida/Ojijigogun of Akure Kingdom and her mother, Madam Felicia Iwe Alade ,a native of Iyin -Ekiti.
She married her husband Late Pa Stephen Ogunjuyigbe Bamidele in 1960 and the union was blessed with many good children, including Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele.

Mrs.Julianah Tinuola Bamidele joined her husband,a trained Broadcasting Technician with the Nigerian Redifussion Broadcasting Service Company in places like Ijero-Ekiti, Ido-Ekiti and different towns in the old Western Region of Nigeria until her husband became the Station Manager in Egba Owode ,now Ogun State where he voluntarily retired in 1978.

Madam Julianah Tinuola Bamidele lived in the United States of America for almost seven years before she died in 2004.

Her devotion to family, church, and community was remembered twenty one years after her demise which will continues to inspire all who knew her.Her impact to the church and community was celebrated with the dedication of the Events Center named in her memory.May her ebulient soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

The late Abiyamo Julianah Tinuola Bamidele Event Center(AJTBEC ) Thanksgiving and dedication event was marked by opulence and style, attracting a crème de la crème of who’s really who in politics, religious,business, government, and social circles.
